‘Aider’ (to help) in the present tense in French

‘Aider’ means ‘to help’ and is a regular -ER verb in French, therefore it will use the regular endings -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. Here are a couple of examples:

  • Aider à la maison: to help at home
  • Aider un ami à faire ses devoirs: to help a friend to do his/her homework
  • Aider à ranger: to help to tidy up
